Owner Jeff Trump comes from a long history of restaurants.
He was involved with his first one when he was 13 years of age. He was with the Houston's Restaurant organization
for 16 years prior to purchasing the Brooklyn Cafe and has been involved with many charity works in the Sandy Springs area
since becoming owner. The Cafe has funded three charity events and has been instrumental in raising over $100,000 for
local non-profit organizations, including the Sandy Springs Community Action Center and Camp Twin Lakes.
New Executive
Chef Mike Horosh "Shooter" uses education, experience and customer feedback to create memorable dishes. Shooter
was also with Houstons Restaurant for 15 years and most recently oversaw menu development and the kitchens of Stoney Rivers
Restaurants. He takes great care in both preparation and presentation so the food looks as good as it tastes.
Shooter also maintains a high end catering business. Stop by and introduce yourself next time you're in the Cafe.
Fresh orders of seafood, bread and produce are delivered daily. Over 90% of the sauces and dressings are made in house.
Over seventy wines make up our wine list -- including fifty selections by the glass. Bar Manager Takka Holt targets
the wines on our list to match our food to enhance your dining experience.
The service staff is energetic, knowledgeable
and professional with the average tenure of two years. The company Mission Statement includes "making Brooklyn Cafe a
great place to eat and work."
Our dining room also serves as an ever-changing gallery for our neighbor and
respected artist, Catherine Miles.
Most recently the Cafe participated in A Taste of Dunwoody, which was
a great way to show off the new menu.
