Jeff Trump is a fixture to the neighborhood. Just ask anyone who has visited his Sandy Springs restaurant, and they will tell you that this is the place to be. “When a guest walks in, we know their drink and we know their name,” he says. “It is all about food, wine and friends. It is like coming over to a friend’s house for dinner.”

Whether you feel like a salad and a glass of wine, or the signature Lobster Enchiladas, Brooklyn Cafe does it all. Each of the sauces and dressings are made in house, and fresh orders of seafood, bread and produce are delivered daily. They also offer an extensive wine list that includes 70 different selections with 50 by the glass.

Prior to purchasing the Brooklyn Café, Trump spent 16 years with Houston’s Restaurants, and today he and partner and Executive Chef Mike Horosh "Shooter" are using their experience to create memorable dishes that keep their guests coming back. “We were lifelong best friends,” Trump says. “This is what we always wanted to do – build a neighborhood place where we knew each of our guests.”

At Brooklyn Café, guests will find just that - a warm and inviting environment with an energetic vibe. The exposed brick walls and European-inspired light fixtures create an ideal setting for an upscale lunch or a romantic evening out. The dining room also serves as an ever-changing gallery for local artists.

It comes as no surprise that Zagat ranked the café among its Top 40 Most Popular Restaurants in Atlanta. In addition to offering fantastic gourmet fare, Trump is involved with many charity works in the Sandy Springs area. Brooklyn Cafe has funded three charity events and has been instrumental in raising over $100,000 for local non-profit organizations, including the Sandy Springs Community Action Center and Camp Twin Lakes.
